I managed to stick to my timings plan which I was really happy about since the Revlon lip colour I had chosen looked quite coral under the lighting. I had time to quickly come up with a plan B and ended up using the orange from my Mandy Gold maquillage concealer palette! This worked as it is almost an exact colour match but could have done with a bit more lustre to match the Tanya Taylor models. Some vaseline over the top of would have finished the lips off.
I was really happy with the colour matching for the base and the warm contouring, the only thing I would have changed at the end is to have made the brows look a bit more natural. I could have done this by drawing on a few well-placed stray hairs.
All in all though I felt pleased with the recreation of this look but with a few more final touches it could have been perfect!
I followed my hair plan exactly and found it easy to stick to my timings. The plaits took a little longer that I thought to get completely equal but I allowed a little extra time for things like that. I was really happy with the recreation of the hair, just a shame she doesn't have bigger ears as the hair in the reference pictures is tucked behind them!
